Biodynamic field day debrief

Hullo everyone and thank you for a wonderful field day. I would like to give a huge thanks to Bert and Kath who helped immensely with the day and the compost is very impressive.

I counted 40 adults and 8 children so that was very good. We had a great time together and I would like to thank everyone for their help, enthusiasm and beautiful food to share.

A couple of resource guides: the summerfruit guide and the citrus guide are missing and the Peter Proctor compost DVD. If they were picked up by mistake you can let me know.

Also 4 beautiful pottery cups are missing which were lent to me by a friend and are very special to her. Please return these or let me know if anyone knows where they are. My address is 908 Waimate North Road if you would like to post them back. If you saw these at some stage of the day, please let Annette know on the premises and the approximate time, so they can figure out when the mugs went missing.

Hi everyone from FNOG. At Saturday’s Biodynamic field day, Oromahoe
Kindergarten, did anyone take by mistake a compost DVD by Peter Proctor, or
two manuals – Organic Summerfruit or Organic citrus. I didn’t have
everything priced. The manuals are $20 and the DVD is $25. Love to have
them back or let me know if you wish to buy them.
Sorry to share this oversite of mine and thanks for a wonderful day, and
lovely to meet everyone. I will let you know when we have another day in the
Autumn.

Erica and Ernie Wisner, “Rocket Mass Heater” Workshops

Erica and Ernie Wisner are coming to NZ in February
The Wisner`s are experts on building RMH`s aka Rocket Mass Heaters.
RMH`s are possibly the most efficient and clean burning wood fired heaters in the world.
They are constructed from cheap, local, recycled and natural materials, and can be built by anyone with basic skills and tools.
The Wisners have been involved in the construction of over 600 RMH`s in America and have got them up to “permit standard ” on suspended wooden floors.
At the moment Grant Steven in Moerewa and Graeme North in Warkworth have committed themselves to holding RMH workshops but the Wisner`s are stopping in NZ on their way to Australia and have said they could come back to NZ after they have finished their Australian Tour
The workshop in Moerewa will probably be in the third week of February but we do not have a definite date yet.
There will be a very intensive and advanced RMH workshop with the Wisners that will be over several days but alongside this will be introductory seminars probably run at Tuna Cafe
